# ✨ March 1, 2026 - Slipstream Routing & Base Chain Internal Routing

> Slipstream pools included in swap routing, and internal routing enabled on Base for better price discovery

**TL;DR**: The execution engine now routes through Slipstream pools for better pricing, and Base chain swaps benefit from internal routing for improved price discovery.

## Slipstream Routing

Slipstream pools are now included in swap routing:

* The execution engine considers Slipstream pools when computing optimal routes
* Pre-hop pool filtering ensures only compatible pools are used
* Better pricing on chains where Slipstream pools offer superior liquidity

## Base Chain — Internal Routing

Internal swap routing is now enabled on Base:

* Direct on-chain routing through supported pools on Base
* Complements aggregator routing for better price discovery
