# 🔧 March 4, 2026 - Hyperliquid HIP-3, Fee Detection Hardening & New Docs

**TL;DR**: Hyperliquid HIP-3 protocol is now supported, MEV and platform fee detection gets hardened with sweep pattern detection, and three new how-to guides are added to the docs.

## Hyperliquid HIP-3 Protocol

Full support for the Hyperliquid HIP-3 protocol:

* Token positions and trading data tracked for HIP-3 assets
* Integrated into the existing DeFi positions pipeline

## Fee Detection Hardening

Platform fee and MEV detection receives multiple improvements:

* Sweep pattern detection to distinguish real fees from internal transfers
* Non-Jito MEV correctly separated from platform fees
* Pool vault addresses excluded from fee candidates via pre-balance checks

## New Documentation Guides

Three new how-to guides added:

* **How to Fetch Asset Metadata** — retrieving token details, logos, and descriptions
* **How to Fetch Multi-Asset Metadata** — batch queries for multiple tokens
* **How to Use Universal Fast Search** — leveraging the fast search endpoint for instant results
